Message from the Artist~
This is an oldy but a goodie. These two pinecones were my first pen and ink attempt. I was young and excited about all things art. I remember wanting to choose the perfect subject for my ink drawing.I searched high and low for something just intricate enough, that was also meaningful to me. I stumbled upon a basket of cinnamon scented pinecones in my mom’s Christmas decoration bundle. The second I smelled that familiar sent I knew that I had found what I was looking for! The intricate scales would make for an interesting design and the cinnamon aroma instantly transported me to the most wonderful time of the year!  
I hope this piece brings you a sense of nostalgia for good times gone by :)
