Message from the Artist~
Sunflowers always seem to bring a smile to my face!  They are so happy and seem to radiate with warmth and positivity.   They are one of my godmothers favorite flowers and like her, they are bright, cheerful and seem to bring a bit of sunshine to even the gloomiest of days!  
 
I have painted this happy flower many times.  In this close-up I wanted to showcase the golden petals unfurling like rays of sun!    I hope that it brings a bit of sunshine your way!
