Message from the Artist~
Every October lighthouse enthusiasts take the Lighthouse Challenge of NJ and visit all of New Jersey's lighthouses in 2 days! Challengers cover the Atlantic Coast from Sandy Hook to Cape May and the Delaware Bay and River Coast from Cape May to Paulsboro.  
 I love visiting and climbing these spectacular structures!  For this collection I decided to create my own personal lighthouse challenge.  I decided to create an original painting/sketch from each land bases lighthouse location in N.J.  This piece spotlights Barnegat Lighthouse shining through a NJ shaped seascape, surrounded by NJ’s state flower, the Violet! 
I hope it brings you a sence of safety and adventure!
