Message from the Artist~
This piece is from an ongoing collection that I started in the spring of 2022. It started as a Mother’s Day collection of small-scale accessory still life paintings but quickly grew! I fell in love with the idea of capturing the personality of each accessory! I also wanted to pay homage to the collectable nature of these objects. So many of us love to collect purses, shoes and other accessories so I created these paintings on a mini scale to invite you to do just that!
This piece depicts a soft yet sophisticated peach purse that belongs to my mom.
