Message from the Artist~
This piece is part of a spring butterfly collection that I created using acrylic and gold leaf on canvas. I wanted to capture the graceful femininity of a butterfly, so I juxtaposed a traditional wing with a floral one and included a shimmer of gold! I have painted this design several times, experimenting with different colors, flowers and sizes however this particular painting was my first blooming butterfly with gold leaf! I hope that this piece brings love and joy to you and your family!
